Pygmalion: A Romance in Five Acts is a romantic comedy about the Phonetics Professor Henry Higgins, who makes a bet that he can train a Cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, to pass for a duchess by changing her accent and manner. The play is the basis for the much-loved Broadway musical, My Fair Lady.

Author's Biography

George Bernard Shaw (1856 – 1950) was an Irish playwright and one of the-founders of the London School of Economics. He was well known for his sharp wit.
