Author's Biography

Gustave Flaubert (1821 – 1880) was a French writer. He was persecuted by French government on morality grounds for his book. At the time he managed to be acquitted. Later he became a national treasure due to the very same book "Madame Bovary". He is considered one of the best western writers ever lived.
